From June 29 to July 5, 2025, in the historic scenery of ancient Suzdal, the Denis Matsuev Summer Festival took place — the largest open-air classical music festival in Russia. It brought together leading orchestras, brilliant world-famous soloists, and rising stars.

At the Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery and the white-stone Kremlin, audiences enjoyed symphonic programs; in Suzdal Zaryadye — chamber classical and jazz concerts.

The festival grew out of the Ivette Voronova New Names Foundation's Summer Creative School, which has been held annually in Suzdal for more than 30 years.

The festival was held under the patronage of the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Central Federal District Igor Shchyogolev and the Governor of Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev, with support from the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
