ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

01

The second Denis Matsuev Summer Festival in Suzdal will take place from July 10 to 19, 2026. Tickets are available on Yandex Afisha. The organizers have prepared new unique musical programs for guests.

For the second year in a row, the festival will become the country's largest open-air celebration of classical music. In the very heart of ancient Suzdal — the white-stone Kremlin — eight classical and jazz concerts will take place on a new stage featuring Denis Matsuev, leading Russian ensembles, world-renowned soloists, and rising stars of the performing arts.

The festival will be held under the patronage of the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Central Federal District Igor Shchyogolev with support from the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Governor of Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev.

Opening the Denis Matsuev Summer Festival in Suzdal will be preceded by the opera "War and Peace". The leading roles will be performed by soloists of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres, the K. S. Stanislavsky and V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theatre, and the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Sergei Prokofiev's grand musical epic will appear in Suzdal's historic scenery as a unique open-air performance featuring more than 500 artists.
